OCIO offers wiki services through CarmenWiki. CarmenWiki spaces are ideal for collaborative writing, group notes, meeting minutes and reporting, and some kinds of data collection and sharing. They are available for instructional, research, and administrative purposes.

• Wiki-space owners have some ability to customize the look of their wiki space, as well as control enrollments and page access.
• Wiki-space owners can create groups for use within their spaces. Spaces created for for-credit courses include groups that allow access to all enrolled students.

OSU faculty, staff and students

Regular faculty or staff can request CarmenWiki spaces for University purposes. Uses include shared resources and collaborative writing for committees, research teams, recognized student groups or department administration. Students who are working with a supervising faculty or staff member on a project may request space on the supervisor's behalf.

Guest Accounts: There are two ways to provide non-OSU guests with access to CarmenWiki. Both require the creation of specialized accounts, so you should leave adequate time before guests need to access your wiki space to create and activate these accounts. Both methods require the use of a valid non-OSU email address that the guest can use to activate the account and set a password that will be used with CarmenWiki.
