Student Information Applications

 

Overview

OCIO assists the university in managing applications for its Student Information System. The Student Information System (also known as SIS), provides a single, cohesive authoritative data source for student-related data. SIS is used for activities such as: academic advising, financial aid, course administration and enrollment, admissions, recruiting, and student records.

What's Included

The OCIO provides the following application services to support Ohio State's Student Information System:

  • Consultation
  • Project Delivery
  • Customer Readiness (includes training development, consultation, and user readiness for Student Infomation System applications)
  • Operational Support
  • Reporting (eReports)

There is currently no charge to OSU faculty, staff and students for use of the online SIS Student Center

OCIO services listed above are requested and utilized as part of Ohio State's Student Information System application initiatives.
