Security Incident Response
Overview
Security Incident Response services seek to limit damage and reduce recovery time and costs in the aftermath of a computer breach or attack. OCIO provides Security Incident Response services to OSU colleges and departments for OSU-related computing equipment.

- IT Forensics
- Incident Response for restricted data
- Blocking of infected machines from the internet

OSU department and college network administrators
How To Order
For assistance, OSU department or college network administrators should e-mail the OCIO Information Security Team at: security@osu.edu.
Special Considerations
Members of the OSU community that suspect an OSU computer system has been compromised or is being attacked, please report the incident immediately to the OCIO IT Support Center at 614-688-4357 (8-4357 from a campus telephone) and to your college or department network administrator. Alternatively, you may contact the OCIO Information Security Team at: security@osu.edu.
