Human Resource Applications

Overview

OCIO assists the university in managing major applications on its Human Resource system. The Human Resource system is one of two administrative systems launched by Ohio State. The other system manages Financials at OSU.

The Human Resource (HR) system maintains information about university employees and departments and supports processes such as payroll, vacation and sick leave tracking. For example, a user would access the Human Resources system and its applications to create a position and hire a new employee into that position.

OSU faculty and staff can obtain information about access, training options, eReports and the online help tool for Ohio State's Administrative Systems at: Administrative Systems Training & Information.
