Financial Applications

 

Overview

OCIO assists the university in managing major applications for its Financials system. The Financials system is one of two administrative systems launched by Ohio State. The other system manages Human Resources at OSU.

The Financials system maintains the university's core financial information, including applications related to General Ledger, purchasing and budgeting, An example of a transaction process in the Financials system is when a user creates a Purchase Order to acquire goods or services.

OSU faculty and staff can obtain information about access, training options, eReports and the online help tool for Ohio State's Administrative Systems at: Administrative Systems Training & Information.

What's Included

The OCIO provides the following application services to support Ohio State's Financials system:

  • Consultation
  • Project Delivery
  • Customer Readiness (includes training development, consultation, and user readiness for Financial system applications)
  • Operational Support
  • Reporting (eReports)

Pricing

There is no charge to OSU faculty or staff for use of services like eReports.

OSU faculty and staff with proper authorization to access Ohio State's Financials system, applications and eReports

OCIO services listed above are requested and utilized as part of Ohio State's Financials system application initiatives.
