PlanIT> Future State> Technology Days

PlanIT's Visioning Team is sponsoring Technology Days, a set of strategic planning forums designed to provide the OSU academic community with expert vision on the future of technology in higher education. Current "thought leaders" from higher education and industry have been invited to Ohio State to give technology users at main and regional campuses and other community partners a broad perspective on what industry views as emerging and future technologies and how academia plans to develop and use them. Their insights should help the university craft a vision of an IT organization that encompasses technology leadership, services, and infrastructure. Panel discussions with industry, academic and campus experts will also be a feature of Technology Days. Following the presentations, users will be surveyed on how they perceive these technologies being adopted and deployed in our institutions. We also ask that you complete our online Future of Information Technology Questionnaire to help us craft a vision statement and guiding principles for our IT strategic plan.
