  1. Accomplishments
    1. Project Activities
      • Updated PlanIT Web site
      • Stakeholder meeting

    2. Current State Activities
      • Continued to collect Academic and Administrative Unit questionnaire responses. Received one complete and two partial responses in August.

    3. Future State Activities
      • Continued to incorporate comments on the Draft Vision Statement and the guiding principles
      • Conducted a focus group session with the Associate Provosts

    4. Gap Analysis and Initiatives Activities
      • Held team meetings twice per week
      • Completed the gap analysis
      • Generated a list of approximately 70 strategic initiatives and narrowed the list to approximately 30 initiatives to be completed in the 3 ­ 5 year timeframe
      • Began the development of the "Initiative Description Worksheet" for each initiative. The worksheet contains:
        • Brief description of the initiative
        • Key objectives
        • Institutional focus area this initiative will impact
        • Tangible benefits
        • Intangible benefits
        • Prerequisites
        • Cost estimates
        • Proposed funding sources
        • Proposed governance
        • Initiative metrics
        • 2nd major Draft of the Vision Statement and Guiding Principles
        • July status report
        • Gap analysis
        • Preliminary list of strategic initiatives
