Course Home: Home Page
This tutorial is designed to help you learn the basics of Microsoft Office 2007. Each bulleted section in the left column is divided into two or more topics and is self-contained, so you can view only what you want. When you select a topic in the Overview portion, you first see a page containing a description with "Try it yourself" links* that access interactive demos. Read the notes and watch what is happening on your screen. When prompted, try a feature yourself. Use the Navigation Bar at the bottom to navigate backward or forward through the demo or to exit.
Although MS Word is used in the demonstrations for the Overview, the features demonstrated are similar in other Office 2007 applications. If you have difficulty viewing any of the demos with interactive content, try increasing your screen resolution to at least 1280 x 1024 if you can. Otherwise, press [F11] to show more of the Captivate window. If you need additional assistance, contact the OIT Help Desk by calling 688-HELP or via email to 8help@osu.edu.
*Note: Additional Units corresponding to each of the Office 2007 applications will be added as they are available. "Try it yourself" links also will be added.
