Where can I get more help?

Get answers and help easily and conveniently online at 8help.osu.edu. The OIT Technology Support Center handles questions, problem reports, service requests, and inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding Internet connectivity, e-mail, computer hardware and software, telephones, cable TV, and related topics. What computing skills do I need?

If you own a computer, we encourage you to learn as much as possible about using and maintaining your system and application software. You also need to know Òsafe computingÓ practices, such as how to avoid computer viruses and Internet scams. Take advantage of classes in your community that teach advanced use of word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Does Ohio State offer computer training?

Each quarter OIT offers a variety of Computing Short Courses at no charge, usually held in one or two sessions, lasting two to three hours per session. Visit oit.osu.edu/compcourses.html for details.
