What Internet access does Ohio State offer?

High-speed Internet access, both wired and wireless, is available at no cost in virtually all campus buildings, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and residence halls.

  • Activate your campus wireless access using your OSU Internet username and password. For more information, go to wireless.osu.edu.
  • ResNet provides high-speed Internet access in every residence hall room, with a port for each student. For more information, send e-mail to resnet@osu.edu, visit resnet.osu.edu, or call 292-5700.
  • OSUWeb.net, OITÕs fee-based, dial-in modem service, offers connectivity speeds up to 56K and three different plans, two of which provide personal web space. For more information, visit www.osuweb.net or call 688-HELP.

Do I have access to online file space or a personal web page?

No. However, some of the OSUWeb.net subscriber plans include personal web space. Check with your college, department, or major program for possible student web space. Get details at www.osuweb.net.
