(Columbus) -- Ohio State is the recipient of the 2003 Association
for Financial
Professionals (AFP) Pinnacle Award for its use of technology. The award
will be presented at the AFP annual conference in Orlando next month.
Jointly sponsored with Wachovia Corp., the AFP Pinnacle Award is presented
annually to organizations whose finance and treasury professionals developed
innovative solutions to cash management and financial challenges. The
university was recognized for its transition to paperless tuition billing,
through which students and parents can now access statements and make
online payments from anywhere in the world, saving the university $190,000
per year.
