The Institutional Data Policy training began last October in support of the university's policy on institutional data. The training module also educates users on responsible data practices. All authorized users of the central administrative systems were targeted to complete the Institutional Data Policy training due to the large volume of data available in the systems and the level of sensitivity of that data. Since the release of the training module in October, just over 5,200 individuals have completed the training. This represents an impressive 89.8% of the university's central administrative system users. In February, the university began requiring completion of the training before granting access to any new users of the central systems. Further plans to disable security access for those that have not completed the training begin March 31.
