Approximately 80 faculty, staff, and students came to learn more about keeping their online activities and computing safe during Ohio State's third annual Cybersecurity Day on October 16, sponsored by the Office of the CIO.

The event featured presentations by Steve Straub from Microsoft, who reviewed security features in the company’s new Vista operating system and Shannon Fuson from the FBI, who discussed that agency's approaches to cybercrime. The free event took place in 140 Pfahl Hall, with refreshments available.
