CIO Advisory Community

The key to establishing a strong collaborative technology environment on campus is effective two-way communications. To do that, the Office of the Chief Information Officer has established an advisory community to dialogue with CIO leaders and managers on a quarterly basis regarding pertinent topics.

This community includes a number of groups that have advised the Office of the CIO over the years including the CIO Stakeholders, TELR Coordinating Council, Digital Union Internal Advisory Committees, and the IT Partnership Council. CIO management and leaders are also a part of the Community.

Additionally, a small executive committee will work with the CIO to confirm recommendations on ensuring its effectiveness. The executive committee includes representation from:

¥ Student Life ¥ Professional Cluster
¥ Business and Finance ¥ Health Sciences Cluster
¥ Medical Center ¥ Regional Campuses
¥ Research ¥ Arts and Sciences Cluster
¥ Human Resources ¥ Libraries
¥ Council on Libraries and IT Chair

Questions or comments regarding the CIO Advisory Community should be directed to Cathy Bindewald at cio@osu.edu or by calling 614-247-6980.
